I killed an Indian Today

I killed an Indian Today:

I killed an indian, he was not so real

I killed him with my brown skinned hands

That indian was never worth a damn

when I killed him you all stopped to stare

I killed an indian to get ahead, its a trash fuck heap of a world he said …

I killed one indian but there’s more I swear

Its viral man they’re everywhere

My grandparents would be so proud, to know I killed one in this crowd

Indigenous to Hollywood, curated culture, lots of books

There was no pride in his death

no ceremonies or sacredness

I thought I told you he’s not real

I killed an Indian to live, to feel.
